Acupuncture

Tiny, hair-thin needles are inserted into specific points in the body, where they are gently stimulated to trigger the body’s natural healing response. Acupuncture is mechanism-based, not disease-based. The intent is to address the neurological dysfunctions that accompany injury. It can help to alleviate symptoms and pain or resolve a condition completely, when injury to the nervous system was the underlying cause.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a treatment performed by skilled, trained therapists, certified in the procedure. A thin monofilament needle penetrates the skin and treats underlying muscular trigger points for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. It attempts to release tension from knots and pressure points in muscle.
