Kyla Hotham, BSc Kin, MSc PT

Registered Physiotherapist

Kyla graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and her Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Since graduating, she has been working mostly with orthopedic and neurological conditions but recently she has developed a special interest in women’s health. This has inspired her to pursue post graduate education to treat a variety of conditions related to women’s health from postpartum to menopause, including pelvic health. She currently holds certificates in Level 1 manual therapy as well as APTEI acupuncture and dry needling. She has also taken advanced courses in treating knee pain, low back pain and running related injuries.

Kyla is passionate about all things exercise from Crossfit, to yoga, to running and everything in between. She believes movement is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle and loves to help people find, or return, to activities they love.

Kyla takes a holistic approach to treatment, focusing on the whole person not just the injury. She values honest and open communication and believes education is a powerful tool to help inspire change. This means focusing on individualised treatment plans which emphasize education, and using manual therapy and exercises that match your goals and lifestyle. Kyla’s objective is to help motivate and empower you to be an active participant in your journey to health.

When not at work she enjoys Crossfit, playing golf and softball, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
